So how did I get here?

I began translating, editing, and proofreading part-time at a company back in 2017 while I was still in graduate school. 

When I realized how much I enjoyed the art of writing and editing in both languages, I decided to take the plunge and started my full-time business in 2017, which I have been growing ever since.

Thus far, I have been able to help hundreds of students, academics, businesses, and novelists improve their writing in English and German.

Fun fact:

I started out in a completely different field: science! My love for biology and nature led me to pursue a career in ecological research first. 

I occasionally still conduct fieldwork, mainly in Central Asia and the Middle East, to help collect population data on endangered bird species. 

This way I get the best of both worlds: participating in important research and helping others write up theirs.
