So how did I get here?
I began translating, editing, and proofreading part-time at a company back in 2017 while I was still in graduate school.
When I realized how much I enjoyed the art of writing and editing in both languages, I decided to take the plunge and started my full-time business in 2017, which I have been growing ever since.
Thus far, I have been able to help hundreds of students, academics, businesses, and novelists improve their writing in English and German.

Fun fact:
I started out in a completely different field: science! My love for biology and nature led me to pursue a career in ecological research first.
I occasionally still conduct fieldwork, mainly in Central Asia and the Middle East to help collect population data on endangered bird species, and I also work as an Expedition Guide in the Arctic and Antarctic from time to time.

I have nearly 10 years’ experience in the writing industry and regularly take professional training courses and participate in webinars to keep up with the latest advancements in the field. I am currently a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Proofreading and Editing (CIEP) und abide by its Code of Practice.
